Dear Parents and Carers,
We welcomed Mary into senior primary at St Pat's on Monday, it is great to get to know all our new students.
The Life Education Van visit is always a highlight for students at St Patrick's. The students across the school have been sharing their highlights and learning from the van. Thanks Life Ed for great learning for health and personal development!
Thank you to all the students and staff who joined in the Orange Sky 3 day SUDSY CHALLENGE 2023. We are half way to our target of $2880. Thank you if you can sponsor us and help us reach our target. Well done Liam (Year 2) for being the school fundraiser extraordinaire!
Several photos have been shared on social media, this one is of the 3rd day for Mrs Ferris and I, and the 4th day for Mrs Grant!
Congratulations to Eva and Archie for being named age champions at the Archdiocesan ahtletics athletics, and to Arly who was runner up age champion.
Good Luck Sofia, who was highly commended in the Year 4 public speaking and has been invited to the archdiocesan final in Goulburn in September!

Celebrating Learning at St Pat's.
Week 6 has been an extremely busy week, jam packed with learning experiences.
As part of Book Week Junior Primary visited the Bega Library.
All classes particpated in Life Education with Healthy Harold.
All students were invited for a healthy breakfast as part of Healthy Bones Action Week.
Here is a snapshot of Stage 1 learning this week. This was on top of their incursion making pizzas!
No Chapel Mass this week - Father’s Day breakfast
This week, we will be welcoming the St Vincent De Paul Education Team to St Pat’s. The team will spend a session on Monday with our 5/6 students discussing social justice issues. The workshop titled ‘Challenging Social Injustice’ will focus on the following points:
- What is Social Justice?
- What are the challenges of Poverty?
- How do the Vinnies shops help people in the community?
- What can we See, Think, Do?
The team will also spend a session working with our Mini Vinnies group, running a workshop called ‘Social Justice Superheroes’. In this workshop, students will engage in empathy building activities and discussions centering on
- How to be a Social Justice Superhero
- What is Poverty?
- Emergency Assistance services
Religious Education in Kindergarten
In Kinder, students have been learning about our church and how to be respectful in our actions while in the church. They have also been discussing Mary Mackillop and ways that she made a difference during her life.
Today we celebrated Book Week eth a parade. There was a range of costumes and themes. Students chose from books they are reading in class and the classics.
Congratulations to all the students who represented St Pat's at the Archdiocesan Athletics in Canberra on Tuesday.

The Australian Dental Health NSW (Dental Clinic Van) will be visiting our school during Week 7, Term 4.
Consent forms have gone home and need to be returned to the office by Monday 4th September (Week 8, Term 3).
