No Chapel Mass this week - Father’s Day breakfast

This week, we will be welcoming the St Vincent De Paul Education Team to St Pat’s. The team will spend a session on Monday with our 5/6 students discussing social justice issues. The workshop titled ‘Challenging Social Injustice’ will focus on the following points:

• What is Social Justice?
• What are the challenges of Poverty?
• How do the Vinnies shops help people in the community?
• What can we See, Think, Do?

The team will also spend a session working with our Mini Vinnies group, running a workshop called ‘Social Justice Superheroes’. In this workshop, students will engage in empathy building activities and discussions centering on

• How to be a Social Justice Superhero
• What is Poverty?
• Emergency Assistance services

Religious Education in Kindergarten

In Kinder, students have been learning about our church and how to be respectful in our actions while in the church. They have also been discussing Mary Mackillop and ways that she made a difference during her life.
