Dear Parents and Carers,

SRC Three new members were inducted to the Student Representative Council: Imogen, Flynn and Axel. We look forward to their contribution to the student voice in the school – the SRC meet weekly to share ideas that can become projects for us to explore.

   

Playground This weekend we will finally see evidence that the new senior playground will soon be installed. Thanks to our amazing Mr Bateman – maintenance man extraordinaire – for removing the old playground over the weekend in preparation for the new. On behalf of the school I extend my thanks to the former P&F and the current Community Council for their hard work in recent years fundraising to support this endeavour. The $20,000 donation from these funds is a substantial support toward the full cost of $50,000 for the playground. THANK YOU!

Toilets The school has been informed that tenders are being written for building the toilet block so we hope to soon have news that the project will take shape. I appreciate the patience of the whole community in the waiting time for this project to come to fruition.

Gross motor circuits are set up regularly for students to continue developing their motor skills. Here are some students of all ages enjoying some balancing.

Reports will be sent home on Friday 26 June. Three-way conferences this term will be carried out via Zoom or telephone. You can choose which mode you would prefer when you book a time. If you have not used Zoom before it would be our strong suggestion for you to choose the telephone. Bookings will open: FRIDAY 19 June 4pm

Bookings will close: SUNDAY 28 June 7.30pm

To book a conference

1. Go to https://www.schoolinterviews.com.au
2. Click on MAKE A BOOKING
3. Enter the code x33hf
4. You will be prompted to;

enter your full name, contact phone number, preferred style of conference (ZOOM OR PHONE), and child’s name.

select the teacher/s for your conference,

select the appropriate time/s that suit/s your family.

5. Click FINISH.

Your selected bookings will be emailed to you immediately.  If you chose Zoom the link will also be emailed to you. If you do not receive your email, please check your junk mail or enter the event code again and check your email address spelling. Update your details if the email address is incorrect. DO NOT DELETE the email you receive. This is your copy of the time and date of the conference. Reminders will not be sent home. Bookings will be closed on Sunday 28 June at 7.30pm.

Prayer Circle

This week Mrs Grant has been visiting classes to facilitate prayer circles. The prayer focus has been forgiveness and compassion, linking to Making Jesus Real. As a school we have all been praying for the students and families who are preparing for Reconciliation.

This week you will notice that there is a very limited number of strawberry milks and no chocolate milks available, due to limited stock available from our supplier.  Juices are still available.

Kinder enrolments are now open and filling up fast, please go to our website and fill-in an online application or contact St Pat’s office on 6492 5500.  We are currently conducting interviews for 2021 students. If you have a child who turns 5 before July 31st 2021 they are eligible for kindergarten enrolment for next year.
