Dear Parents and Carers,
The concert certainly brings our community together, and brings out the wonderful performing talents of our students. As noted at the concert, events like this do not happen without an amazing group of talented and dedicated people.
My greatest thanks goes to the staff team at St Patrick's for the support of every child's success and full participation in the concert. Our staff are filled with patience, creativity, high expectations, support and encouragement. Our students are blessed to have you shaping their lives as learners and participants in our world!
A special thanks to Tam Prime for coordinating the pre-concert dinner and all the parent helpers. You are amazing! We are so grateful for your dedicated work in support of our school.
Thanks also to Adam and Ross for their great tech work. Orders for the DVDs will open soon.

The thanks of the school is extended to the outgoing Community Councillors for their service to our school community.

We are filled with gratitude. We look forward to the Expressions of Interest flowing in for the next Council, so that this important group can reconvene for the greater good of our school.
Thank you also to all parents who have nominated themselves to help at the events that are coming up this year, in particular the Beachathon and the Christmas Festival. We need you! Please send your form in to the school office if you didn't leave it with the Mrs Grant at the hall at the end of the concert. An extra copy of the form will be sent home for your consideration.
I trust it will be a weekend of rest for all our St Pat's kids in readiness for Week 10 of Term 3.

Please consider coming to the Celebration of Learning on Wednesday. You can see what explicit direct instruction looks like in action.

Good luck to the seven of our students, Archie Sly, Aly Sly, Indi Taylor, Eva Ridley, Tommy Wiley, Arly Schrader and Drew Duncan who are travelling to Sydney to compete at the MacKillop Athletics Trials on Monday. If selected, they will go on to compete at Nationals. We are very proud of these students for making it to this level of competition.
In Term 4, Sports trials will occur for Cricket and Touch football. These are trials for students wanting to compete at a representative level in year 5 and 6 for boys and girls. The selection criteria is available from the school if you require further information.
Next Friday we will be holding our Junior Primary athletics day. This will be held on school grounds between recess and lunch. Children will be able to wear shirts in their house colours. Parents are welcome to come along.
