YR 2/3 POETRY

Yr 2/3Y have been learning about adverbs. Clancy, Anh and Liam came to visit Mrs Scott Pegum and myself and said "an adverb describes the verb and usually end in 'ly. These students have created a poem using an adverbs;

'Happily' by Anh

Happily, I play with friends

Happily, I go to sleep

Happily, I am friends with Jenson

Happily, I eat cake

But most happily of all

I ride my bike

'Carefully' by Clancy

Carefully, the swan lands on the water

Carefully, I swim through the waves

Carefully, the duck flies

Carefully, I ice the cake

But most carefully of all

I walk on the cattle grid

'Loudly' by Liam

Loudly, my cat meows

Loudly, people talk

Loudly, I yell

Loudly, my brother yells at 3am

But most loudly of all

My Dad snores!!!

TERM 3 DANCE CONCERT; SAVE THE DATE

SEPTEMBER 1ST 2022

Next term our students will have an opportunity to work with the very talented Aleeta to develop a dance for each class and present to families on September 1st at 6.00pm. In the past our Dance Concert has been developed around a theme: Australia, Disney Movies, the 90s and beyond. We have asked students to contribute their ideas for a theme for our 2022 Dance Concert. We are looking forward to choosing a creative theme initiated by a student.
