This term, students in Stage 3 will be participating in a new Mathematics program called ‘Connecting Maths Concepts’ (CMC). This program is currently being used in other Canberra Goulburn Catholic Education schools with great success. It follows the St Patrick’s School-wide approach of High Impact Teaching Practices (HITP), with a focus on providing highly explicit instruction to develop core understanding of mathematical concepts. More information about the program will be sent home to Stage 3 families early next week.
