Dear Parents and Carers,
Welcome back! A special welcome to Charlie (Year 4) and Zara (Kindergarten) to St Patrick’s. Another welcome to Fr Adrian Chan our new Parish Priest. Fr Adrian came to our Thursday morning assembly to meet us and to lead us in morning prayer.
It is fabulous to report that we have had 3 great days of engagement and learning as Term 2 begins. We can see the rest and relaxation experienced during the holidays has helped students to recharge for the term.
You may have seen, in person, in the local media, or on our social media posts the St Patrick’s representation at the ANZAC service on Monday. I am so proud of our St Pat’s kids for their respectful participation with our school, and with other groups and organisations too. A special congratulations to Lily and Nate for presenting the oration on the meaning of ANZAC. I have received such positive feedback from the community about both what our leaders said, and their poise during the presentation.

Next week we look forward to a visit from Mrs Kerry O'Callaghan our Aboriginal Education Specialist, and Mr Ian Luscombe from BehaveAbility.
