Yesterday 19 St Pat's students travelled to Narooma to compete in the Southern Region swimming carnival. The day started with great excitement when our senior girls relay team won the 1^st event of the day. The senior boys followed up with a second as did the junior girls. The junior boys team was a very young team and they tried their hardest. These boys will mostly be juniors again next year.

As the day progressed many of our swimmers gained places and were selected in the Southern Region team. This team will compete in Queanbeyan for selection into the Archdiocesan swimming team. We have 13 children selected in the Southern Team.

Congratulations to the following children Henry Philipzen, Mia Gowing, Alice Johnson, Charlotte Hoskins, Arly Schrader, Monique Canavan, Lily and Chase Salway, Drew Duncan, Jordan Shepheard, Nate Irvin, Levi Dale and Eva Ridley. Well done to all who were part of our St Pat's team you were all a credit to our school!
