SCHOOL DIARY/JOURNAL 2022

All students at St. Pat's will have access to a school diary throughout 2022. The diary has been developed to incorporate our St. Patrick's vision and 3 pillars of learning.

Students will be able to revisit their diary daily and classes will be focussing on a particular attribute of learning during school time (for example resilience) throughout the year and students acknowledged who are demonstrating this. This journal is another way of supporting our students to demonstrate the behaviours of being a St. Pat's kid;

• taking responsibility for myself
• managing rejection
• valuing and accepting other people’s point of view
• valuing the opinion of friends

• disagreeing politely
• stopping when someone asks me to stop

At St Pat’s we BE SAFE BE HAPPY by

• understanding that there are consequences for my actions
• understanding that my actions impact others
• communicating clearly and appropriately
