The Southern Region Athletics Carnival which was to be held here in Bega has been cancelled. The MacKillop and Archdiocesan carnivals have been moved on to next term and it has been decided that the Southern and Western Regions Teams will be compiled from times and distances obtained at school carnivals. This process is still being completed and any children from St Pat's who make the team will be notified when this is finalised. Anyone who has paid their $5 levy will have that money reimbursed via their school fees.
