Out in The Cold
Our Out in the Cold event will be held on Friday 18th June. The afternoon will begin at 3:30pm with guest speakers and activities. The event's aim is to raise awareness about homelessness. Students are asked to bring along cans of soup or a blanket to donate.
After our guest speakers finish we will have a lite dinner and more activities. Students will be collected by 8pm - you do not need to stay for the whole afternoon/evening.
Religious Education
This week Lisa Mammoliti visited from Catholic Eduaction to support teachers to collatrabtively plan our Term 3 Religious Education Units. Our concept for next term is Social Justice which will include the celebration of Mission Month in October.
This also included visits to classrooms to see their prayer spaces.
Camp Quality Puppet Show
Today the Camp Quality Team presented one of their new puppet shows to selected classes.
Blake - "The puppet show got me thinking a lot and was easy to relate to".
