WELLBEING @ ST PAT'S
EMPOWERED PROGRAM
Leadership when described as a character strength is;
"when you are good at organising things for groups of people, working well with everyone and bringing out the best in others"
Bringing out the best in others is the true essence of a leader knowing what you have as far as your strengths and then bringing out the strengths in others. This image below is how leadership is modelled at St Pat's Joining together as individuals to share our true colours, our gifts and character strengths so that everyone in our community can flourish... teachers, parents and students.
How do you lead from your character strengths in your home or workplace?
PEER MEDIATION
As the weeks come and go our Peer are enjoying the chance to demonstrate leadership in the form of listening and mediating students who have disputes. Some of our Peer Mediators are relunctant at first but by the end of lunchtime have conquered their fear and have enjoyed the experience. A big shout out to the six grade 6 students who volunteered to do Peer Mediation on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays at lunch time. Those students are; Caitlyn, Tyger, Isobel, Nate, Ivy and Oliver.
PASSION CLUBS
The dance club is thriving with all ten students so keen to learn a dance to perform at an up coming assembly.
Enjoy
