FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Carers,

2022 Enrolments Kinder enrolments for 2022 are well underway. This year we are adding to the transition to school plan for our new Kinder children. The new program is the Big Steps program and will add 5 further visits to the 3 regular orientation to school mornings. We have listened to our families about the possibility of extending the orientation program. We know there are many benefits of a longer program to support students in their familiarity and readiness for school. More will be communicated next week about the dates and outline of this program.

Principal Retreat Day This week I have been in Galong Wednesday afternoon and Thursday for a principal gathering and retreat time, called Siloam. As Catholic educators and leaders we take some time to gather, pray, reflect. We also take time to discern the pathway for growing the Catholicity of our school community.

As a Catholic community prayer is central to our faith life. As a staff, we pray to begin the week. As a school we pray together to begin the week and each day. We pray before meals and often end the day with prayer.

Do you or your family have an intention for which you would like our community to pray?

Do you or your family have a need for support?

Please contact the school or email me directly to make time for a confidential meeting in support of you, your children and your family.

Prayers today Thank you for your prayers for Mrs Banks today at the sad time of the funeral of her father.

School Survey Thank you for your continued support of working in partnership with our school in the education of your children. Our partnership as parents and educators began when you signed your child’s enrolment form, in most cases, the year prior to their commencing school. We thank you for working with us toward the best educational outcomes for your child / children.

Between now and Friday the 11th of June we are inviting students, teachers and parents to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.

We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your constructive feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St Patrick’s.

The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You are able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device by using the URL below:
