Religious Education in 1/2

1/2R & 1/2B’s big idea for Religious Education in Term 3 is Stewards of God’s Creation. This week students brainstormed ideas about what this means. Some ideas they came up with:

*Planting and looking after plants.

*Caring for and cleaning up the environment eg picking up rubbish.

*Reducing the use of plastic.

*Caring for animals. 

*Looking after one another. 

First Eucharist

This term our Middle Primary students (Year 3 & 4) are preparing for First Eucharist. Families will receive an information package in the coming week.

If you would like your child to be involved in the preparation for First Eucharist, please indicate on the enrolment form in the package and return it to our School Office by Friday 7^th August 2020.

First Eucharist Virtual Retreat for Parents – Wednesday 5^th August at 6pm 

Enrolment Mass – Sunday 9^th August at 9:30am

Family Retreats – Sunday 23^rd & 30^th August 4:30-6pm 

Retreat – The format and date of the retreat is to be confirmed

First Eucharist – Thursday 17^th September at 6pm

First Eucharist Thanksgiving Mass – Sunday 20^th September at 9:30am
