On Monday Mrs Grant visited Lumen Christi to present Appreciation Certificates to all the students involved in the St Pat’s Class Retreats. St Pat’s students provided the student ministers with feedback after the retreats. Here are some of the highlights and concepts they found interesting:

• Cooking with biscuits
• Learning about caring for the environment
• Statistics about pollution
• The population of homeless is the biggest in the Bega Valley

The Class Retreats theme of social justice lead students to many wonderings and fostered a generous culture of giving. This was evident at today’s Giving Mass where the school presented their Christmas Hampers to St Vincent de Paul representatives.
