Week 9 Focus: Learning from Mistakes – Building Resilience Through a Growth Mindset
This week, our students are exploring how mistakes help us grow—a key theme in our GEM Talks and The Resilience Project. Through classroom activities and reflections, students are learning that challenges build resilience and that effort leads to improvement. Teachers are modelling positive self-talk, persistence, and mindful reflection, helping students become confident, lifelong learners.
Dance Concert – Week 10
Classes are working hard this week (Week 9) to rehearse their routines for the upcoming Dance Concert in Week 10. This exciting event is a celebration of creativity, teamwork, and resilience. Students will perform both their class dance and their stage item, A Taste of St Pat’s.

Parent Tip
Praise your child’s effort, strategies, and persistence, not just the outcome. Help them reframe mistakes as valuable learning opportunities.
On Wednesday our 5/6 students had a fantastic excursion to Lumen to watch their vibrant production of Madagascar! From catchy tunes to colourful characters, it was a joyful celebration of creativity and talent. Well done to all involved!
