Dear Parents and Carers,

Goodness, it is now the end of Week 9 Term 3! It's a perfect time to pause and appreciate some of the laughter, learning, and engagement we’ve seen across our school. In the classrooms around the playground, our St Pat’s kids continue to inspire all of the staff with their curiosity and kindness.

Every morning at our short welcome assembly we shine a light on the values that guide us at St Pat’s, our 3 pillars:

• Look after each other
• Look into thinking
• Look ahead to the future

These pillars are at the centre of what we say and how we act at St Pat’s. And every day, our staff take a moment to honour students individually and collectively who embody these values, especially those who show exceptional care and compassion through our yellow pillar: Look after each other.

It is always heartwarming to see our students care, support and help of one another. They are learning to show empathy, and the skills to help co-create a safe and inclusive environment. Whether it’s a kind word, a helping hand, or simply being a good friend, these moments matter each day, and they’re celebrated at assembly.

We’ve also seen rich examples of deep thinking and future-focused learning. From creative problem-solving in classrooms to thoughtful discussions about the world around us, our students - your children- continue their personal growth into thoughtful, capable young people.
