FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
Another wonderful week of learning and engagement for everyone at St Patrick's.
We enjoyed a visit from the Executive Director of Catholic Education, Mr David de Carvahlo on Tuesday. Mr de Carvahlo enjoyed a school tour led by captains Archie and Savannah and spent time in every classroom to witness our great teaching and learning. In a complimentary email to me at the end of the day David said, 'It was indeed a joy to be at St Patrick’s today. Archie and Savannah were wonderful hosts, guiding me through the school to see the high impact teaching strategies in action in every classroom. No wonder the academic outcomes are so good. I found the conversations with your staff very engaging. They are really committed to the wellbeing of their students, who were all so engaged in their learning (especially the Kindergarten students, who were bursting with enthusiasm when reciting the definition of a diagraph: “Two letters, one sound!” )'. Fr Adrian and Tam Prime, chair of our Community Council, also spent time talking with David about all things St Pat's. We were blessed to have David return to share in the festivities of 'A Taste of St Pat's, 2025!'
'A Taste of St Pat's,' 2025 A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came and shared in our school cultural celebration on Wednesday afternoon. It was a colourful and delicious event. The students really enjoyed performing song, dance and musical items from cultures around the world. I am so proud of their efforts.
Thank you to all families who could be there and for cooking up the most delicious meals to share with the community.
We look forward to 'A Taste of St Pat's' being an annual celebration of our school community enjoying and learning about our rich tapestry of cultures.
Blessings,
Jo
