FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL & CLASSROOM SUPPORT TEACHER
3/4 Out and About
Last Friday, our enthusiastic Year 3/4 students set off on an exciting walking excursion to the Bega River. Partnering with the Bega Valley Shire Council, the students had the opportunity to plant trees along the riverbank.
This hands-on experience not only provided valuable lessons about environmental stewardship and the importance of local vegetation but also allowed the students to actively contribute to their community. With eager smiles and hardworking hands, they planted numerous trees that will benefit the ecosystem for years to come.
A special thank you to the Bega Valley Shire Council for their guidance and support, making this excursion both educational and unforgettable.
