FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers,
We welcome to our new student, Tony, into Year 5, it is great to have new students at St Pat's and supporting them to get to know about learning and life in our school.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to all parents, carers, students and family members who came to our 'A Taste of St Pat's' Multicultural Expo last Friday afternoon. Your participation made the event the resounding success it was.
Thanks to all the families who cooked / baked some delicious food for us to savour during the event. What a feast from our own backyard with our Koori kids making Johnnie cake and syrup treats, to fare from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Malta, Philippines and Vietnam. We hope you were able to enjoy a favourite and try one or two new tastes.
Here are a few photos of our wonderful celebration

How is the home reading going? Daily reading for your child is very important. Thank you for reminding, and encouraging, and supporting your child to read every day. Thank you for taking out a book and showing them that you value reading too!
I have been in Canberra Wednesday to Friday this week meeting with principal colleagues in our Southern Region, and colleagues from across the Archdiocese. We have spend time learning from educators local and global and reflecting on next steps for each and all of our schools.
See you next week.
Blessings,
Jo
