FROM THE ACTING PRINCIPAL
It’s the Perryman Pass
When a goal is set, best practise is to evaluate, restate and continue. Last week I set a goal; every child in the school would bring a piece of work they are proud of and show me by 22 November. Here is my analysis;
Evaluate
result 0%
reason- possibly not enough incentive.
Restate or modify
I will thank and reward every child in the school when they bring a piece of work to me that they are proud of.
Keep going
We don’t always get the desired results, it takes time.
If your child still has their Perryman Pass, please encourage them to come and see me, if they don’t please encourage them to come and see me anyway. Here is another pass just in case.
Once you have chosen a piece of work you are proud of,
ask your teacher if it is OK for you to use your PERRYMAN PASS

Bring your PERRYMAN PASS to Mrs Chauvier and let her know you would like to use your PERRYMAN PASS.
You can use your pass between 2pm and 3pm.
The process of goal setting is an important part of learning and student’s set learning goals for themselves on a regular basis. The gold is in the process of achieving the goal. Resilience, critical thinking, modifying and taking action are all essential skills for our students development.
I wonder what your child’s goal is at the moment?
Peace be with you
