Our school’s Aboriginal Education Worker is bringing rich cultural experiences to our Year 1/2 students through engaging sessions. These activities are fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Aboriginal culture and traditions. We’re thrilled to see our young learners so inspired and connected!
Spotlight on InitiaLit in Year 1!
Our Year 1 students are diving into the world of reading with the InitiaLit program. This evidence-based approach is designed to build essential skills for independent reading. Through engaging lessons, students develop strong phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. We're excited to see our young readers grow in confidence and ability, setting a solid foundation for their future learning.
