FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Parents and Carers
The Beachathon was a wonderful day of community, fitness, fundraising and fun! Our students showed stamina with either the jog or the walk of the track. Thanks to the BVSC for helping us navigate the current footpath works area.
* To our St Pat's staff &
* Tam Prime and Ricquel Morgan and the wonderful team of parent helpers
for making the day such a success.
Thank you to all the sponsors of the event for the amazing prize pool! Prizes will be drawn next Monday.
BehaveAbility We welcomed Ian Luscombe back to St Pat's today for a review on our positive behaviour strategies in action. It was great to get a glowing report from Ian about our students behaviours for learning and play at school.
Staffing For personal and health reasons Ms Grainger has resigned from her part time teaching position. Ms Kaye will work alongside Ms Reid as the 12R teachers for the remainder of the 2024 year.
Welcome to Mr George Aldridge as our second Aboriginal Education Worker (AEW) at St Patrick's. Mr Aldridge will work each Thursday and Friday supporting our indigenous students, commencing next week. Mrs Stewart will continue her work in this role each Monday and Tuesday.
Considering a Teaching Career If you have an undergraduate degree and are considering becoming a teacher, the NEXUS program might be for you! Please read the information about the Master of Teaching (Primary) program being offered by La Trobe University.
Blessings,
Jo
