STEM NEWS
We have had a lot of fun learning in STEM this term, first we built robots, then we tried to build a house out of newspaper. Our first task was to roll 2 pieces of newspaper together. They had to be rolled tightly from the corner and held together with tape. The next step was to make triangles from our paper posts. When we had enough triangles we started connecting them. Once we had a few joined we realised we had created a rectangle. We only managed to get the first row of “bricks” for 3 walls completed.
Kinder's had a go at making small group huts. Please remind your children of this activity and the skills they learned, I recommend this as a good wet weather activity in the holidays!
