Connecting with Families Mrs Grant and I enjoyed speaking with many of our families in the term break. We took the opportunity to speak with a parent of every family that we hadn't had contact, with in the weeks toward the end of term 3. Thank you for the strong and positive feedback about your child's life and learning at St Pat's and presenting any wonderings and new information to us.
If we were only able to leave a message for you we are reallly looking forward to a conversation, to ensure that Term 4 is a great term of learning and engagement for your children. Please email Emma or myself and we'll book a time for a phone chat.
Staff Learning On Monday our staff gathered at Pambula surf club for their annual spirituality day. We were blessed to have Prof Br. David Hall, from Australian Catholic University, present to us. The focus and reflection was on Jesus a Pilgrimage, a book written by James Martin. As Catholic educators we take time each year to reflect on our calling, our vocation, to teach in Catholic schools.
CrossFit In Term 4 we have engaged Romy from CrossFit Sapphire to facilitate a CrossFit program for our Year 6 boys and girls. Wednesday was the first session. This is certainly a way to get the heart rate up! I was impressed with the engagement of our senior students in the program.
We are looking forward to continuing the great learning for all students in Term 4.
Kind regards,
Jo
