The rain held off, the wind stayed away but the day started rather cold and it didn't get much warmer for our athletics carnival. This didn't deter our athletes and there were some great results recorded on the day. Points were tallied quickly so we could have our presentation before returning to school. The only unknown result at this stage is our winning house which will be presented at assembly next Tuesday.

Our age champions for this year are.

Senior boy and girl - Drew Duncan and Eva Ridley

11 years boy and girl - Aidan Green and Arly Schrader

Junior boy and girl - Archie Sly and tie for the girls between Isabella Clifton-Collins and Ally Sly.

Congratulations to these children and well done to those who tried their hardest in all events.

Thanks also to the parents and grandparents who helped out in anyway.

The Southern Region carnival will also be held in Bega on Wednesday 2^nd August, with our school responsible for the running of the day. A BBQ and canteen will be running on the day and Mrs Collins will need a lot of help here! For those who aren't able to help in this way we will require some baking to be done with slices, muffins etc. Look out for notices regarding this and please respond if you are able. All money raised goes back to ALL the children not just our athletes.
