FROM THE REC & CLASSROOM SUPPORT
Religious Education
Students in 3/4 have been exploring images of God this term.
Students read scripture and viewed images of Mount Siani before creating their own representation.
Supporting Students - Adjusted Reports
Students who receive substantial or extensive adjustments receive an adjusted Semester Report.
Adjustments are actions taken that enable a student with disability to access syllabus outcomes and content on the same basis as their peers. These adjustments relate to teaching, learning and assessment from Kindergarten to Year 12. The types of adjustments will vary according to the needs of the individual student. Decisions are made at school level to offer adjustments to students with disability in each curriculum area and assessment activities.
Based on the school's context and student needs, schools can decide on the format. At St Patrick’s our adjusted reports include adjustments and/or exclusion of grades on Compass and an additional report aspect that reflects on the achievement of Personalised Plan goals.
This additional aspect allows teachers to share individual progress based on the adjustments that have been implemented.
