FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
OUT AND ABOUT
Today our Year 5/6 students participated in an AFL GALA Day known as the Paul Kelly Cup with students from schools around the Bega District. The students represented the school with pride and participated in a game some of them had never played but were willing to have a go. Regardless of win, loss or draw our students were exposed to another physical acitivity within a team sport context. We thank our Year 5/6 teacher Travis Broughton for organising the event and ensuring all students were able to take part by running skills training at school prior to the event in his own time. We also thank Madison Zonneveld and Maureen Scott for supervising the students throughout the day as well as parents Phil Martin and Ros Kennedy giving of their time to collect and erect or dismantle the school gazebos to keep our students shaded.
